|Tim is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed residency in Emergency Medicine at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is ABEM Board Certified. Tim began his career with Mid-America in 2003 and currently serves as Chair of the Emergency Medicine Department at Memorial Medical Center.|
Matt earned a degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. Matt is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and EMS, and has been a member of the Mid-America team since 2003.
|Charles received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and is a graduate of UNT-HSC Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at SIU School of Medicine, Springfield. Duffy began his career with Mid-America in 2012.|
Matt graduated from and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the SIU School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Matt began his career with Mid-America Emergency Physicians in 2015.
Rich graduated from and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at SIU School of Medicine. He began his career with Mid-America Emergency Physicians in 2013 and became Medical Director in 2015. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Ted is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (MD) and Duke University (MPP). He completed residency in Emergency Medicine at Indiana University in 2009, served as an IU Chief Resident, and is ABEM Board Certified. Ted worked for 4 years as the Assistant Program Director with the SIU Emergency Medicine Residency and has been with Mid-America since 2013. In addition, Dr. Clark is the Chief Medical Officer at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Jimmy graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago, and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at SIU School of Medicine in Springfield. Dr. Jain joined Mid-America soon after graduating in 2014. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Blair holds both an B.S.N and an MSN from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She has been with Mid-America since 2008.
|Cheryl is the Executive Assistant for Mid-America. She has worked with the organization since 2007, and has over 20 years of experience in health care office management. Cheryl’s responsibilities include human resources, and is the contact for employment inquiries. She manages the website, coordinates credentialing, and assists with physician scheduling as needed. Cheryl is the assistant to Dr. Tim Harvey and Dr. Matt Johnston, and provides support to all Medical Directors and providers. She attended Lincoln Land Community College, and received her Medical Office Management Certification in 1999.|
Lori received her Bachelor’s degree from Columbia College majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in human relations and healthcare management.
Lori joined Mid-America in 2015, bringing 20 years of healthcare business experience. Her responsibilities include management of the physicians’ schedule, recruiting, and human resources.
|Becky received her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University where she completed her BS in Business Administration and Accounting minor. She later completed the Executive MBA at the University of Illinois—Champaign. Becky has been with Mid-America since 2012 and her professional career has focused primarily in healthcare finance and operations. As a business manager, her responsibilities include recruiting, benefits, contracting, budgeting, and financial management.|
|Mary Jane joined the Administrative Team in November, 2017. She received her AS degree from Lincoln Land Community College and did continuing education at Sangamon State University in business. Mary Jane has over 20 years of office and banking experience. Her main responsibilities include providing clerical support to staff and providers. She maintains Navigator, tracks provider certifications, CME, and assists with chart completion. Mary Jane plays a major role in assisting with site audits as they arise.|
Linda joined the Administrative Team as a part time member while working as the Medical Staff Coordinator at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. Linda retired from TMH in 2017 after 33 years of employment. Her experience at TMH lends itself well to her job responsibilities for Mid-America Emergency Physicians.
As Medical Staff Coordinator, Linda is responsible for assisting in the application and reapplication process of Mid-America providers at all MHS affiliates. Linda assists with CompMed Billing Company to ensure all providers are enrolled in various insurance programs. Linda is key in ensuring timely granting of providers’ appointments and reappointments.
In addition Linda maintains accurate recordkeeping of provider spreadsheets, tracks renewal of board certifications, as well as state & federal licensing.
